The Ubiquiti UniFi UAP-AC-SHD is an 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi access point engineered for high-density environments. It delivers 2.4 GHz radio rates of up to 800 Mbps and 5 GHz radio rates of up to 1733 Mbps, utilising 4x4 MU-MIMO technology for simultaneous data transfer to multiple devices. A dedicated security radio continuously monitors the airwaves for threats and interference, providing real-time WIPS/WIDS protection. The UAP-AC-SHD is powered via 802.3at PoE+ through its two Gigabit Ethernet ports and is managed by the UniFi Network application, making it suitable for demanding enterprise deployments.
